NATUS Helps Liansheng Pulp & Paper Achieve New Breakthrough in Pulp-and-Paper Balance
At 10:20 AM on September 3, 2025, the first production line of Phase II BCTMP project at Liansheng Pulp & Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd. achieved a successful one-time startup. The entire process—from feeding to full operational flow—was completed in just 6 hours, with pulp brightness stabilized at 70–72 degrees and fiber bundle content kept below 0.1%, fully meeting the production standards for high-end paper machines.
This efficient and stable commissioning outcome was supported by the core power guarantee provided by NATUS—the ENERGON low-voltage intelligent switchgear. With its outstanding performance, the system ensured continuous and safe operation of key power systems.

Serving as the power system core of this project, NATUS's ENERGON low-voltage intelligent switchgear is deployed across key power distribution nodes of the BCTMP production line. Specifically engineered for the demanding conditions of the paper industry — including high humidity, high dust levels, and continuous operation — this product series sets a new benchmark in reliability, safety, and operational maintenance efficiency.

The ENERGON low-voltage intelligent switchgear integrates an innovative structure with high-safety design, featuring a unique bidirectional sliding mechanical transmission (DTS) device that enables uninterrupted replacement and maintenance of functional units without power shutdown, truly supporting "zero-downtime operation" and significantly enhancing production continuity. Its fully enclosed arc-resistant vertical busbar system, equipped with safety door isolation and a U-groove π-shaped copper busbar combined with a heat-dissipating back cover, increases current-carrying capacity by over 15% while reducing temperature rise for more stable operation. The linear fully-engaged blast-proof door lock, certified to IEC 61641, provides 100% protection against arc leakage, comprehensively ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.

In the Liansheng project, the modular design and standardized interfaces of the ENERGON low-voltage intelligent switchgear significantly reduced installation and commissioning time, contributing to the efficient deployment of the power system. Its integrated smart monitoring system enables real-time perception of critical parameters, supporting condition-based management and predictive maintenance to ensure continuous and reliable power supply for key loads such as the pulp line.
With outstanding engineering adaptability and operational stability, the ENERGON low-voltage intelligent switchgear establishes a safer, more efficient, and easier-to-maintain low-voltage power distribution system for demanding applications such as the paper industry, delivering tangible improvements in operational efficiency.

As a benchmark product in the low-voltage power distribution sector, the ENERGON series switchgear has been widely deployed in numerous large-scale paper manufacturers and diverse industrial applications worldwide, earning robust customer trust through its stable and superior performance. Its successful commissioning at the Liansheng Zhangpu base once again validates NATUS' strong capability in driving industrial intelligent transformation with innovative technologies. Moving forward, we will continue to build on our precision-engineered products, collaborating with industry leaders to jointly create a new blueprint for smarter manufacturing that is more efficient, safer, and greener.
