City Leaders Meet with Senior Executives of German Natus Group
On May 7, Pan Dongling, Vice Mayor of Changzhou, met with Frank Natus, Chairman of the German Natus GmbH & Co. KG, and his delegation. The two sides held discussions on further strengthening cooperation.

Pan Dongling extended a warm welcome to Frank Natus and his delegation, providing a brief overview of Changzhou's economic development. He emphasized that Changzhou boasts a robust manufacturing foundation and is one of One of the regions with the most developed new power equipment industry in China, with the sector's scale exceeding 100 billion yuan last year, presenting new development opportunities for foreign enterprises. He expressed hope that Natus would leverage the launch of its new factory as an opportunity to further consolidate the collaborative achievements between both sides, strengthen coordination across the industry chain's upstream and downstream segments, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the new power equipment cluster. Additionally, he assured that both the municipal and district governments will continue to foster a top-tier market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, providing more platforms and better conditions for enterprises to invest and thrive in Changzhou.
Frank Natus expressed gratitude for the consistent care and support from Changzhou. He stated that the company has always regarded China as the most crucial part of its global strategic development and remains committed to the Chinese market. Natus is dedicated to introducing more advanced technologies and innovative products in the field of new power equipment to its Changzhou factory, aiming to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes at a higher level. Natus GmbH & Co. KG was established in Germany in 1956, specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of industrial and power equipment. NATUS (Changzhou) Electric Systems Co., Ltd. was founded in 2009 and relocated to Cailing Science and Technology Park in Diaozhuang Street, Tianning District after becoming a Sino-German joint venture in 2011. In recent years, the company has continuously increased its investment in research and development, now possessing a comprehensive product portfolio that includes medium and low voltage switchgear, components, gas-insulated cabinets, eco-friendly gas ring main units, busbars, energy storage solutions, and power distribution products for the new energy sector.

In April last year, NATUS launched the construction of its intelligent power distribution R&D and innovation industrial platform. As the only integrated R&D and manufacturing base of the German Natus Group in the Asia-Pacific region, the project involves a total investment of 1 billion yuan, with a total floor area of 130,000 square meters. It plans to build eight fully automated production lines and be equipped with an industrial internet big data center. Upon completion, the platform will achieve full-lifecycle R&D and manufacturing of intelligent power distribution equipment and collaborate with the headquarters to develop a new generation of environmentally friendly ring main units and C-GIS cabinets.
The main structure of the project has now been topped out, with operations expected to commence in August. Upon operation, the first-year sales revenue is projected to reach 1 billion yuan, achieving an annual output value of 2 billion yuan within five years, further consolidating its leading position in the industry.
