On August 31, 2026, NATUS Electric Group Co., Ltd. and the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangsu University of Technology formally signed an industry-academia-research cooperation agreement, and held the plaque-awarding ceremony for the “Jiangsu University of Technology Internship Base.” The two parties will collaborate deeply in cutting-edge fields such as intelligent power distribution equipment upgrades and low-altitude economy disaster prevention and control, exploring a new paradigm of industry-education integration characterized by “joint talent cultivation, joint technology R&D, and shared outcomes,” helping the company sharpen its core competitiveness and empowering the digital-intelligent transformation of industry.

NATUS Electric President Li Yinghui, Vice President Xiao Liang, and others attended the ceremony together with Deputy Dean Ding Kai and Party Secretary Xue Yaping of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangsu University of Technology, as well as faculty representatives. Under the agreement, the cooperation focuses on the following areas:
First, jointly advancing intelligent product upgrades.
Leveraging NATUS's expertise in intelligent power distribution and Jiangsu University of Technology's strengths in automation and control disciplines, the two sides will drive the intelligent iteration of EZ-power power distribution products. They will work to conquer real-time monitoring and sensing technologies for electrical quantities, switching quantities, and analog quantities, while also achieving precise control of key core technologies covering switching operation control, protection functions, and communication transmission.
Second, jointly building an internship base to cultivate applied talents.
NATUS officially awarded the internship base plaque and will host students majoring in mechanical and electrical engineering for practical training. At present, three second-year postgraduate students have already joined the Group to take part in product R&D, achieving a “seamless connection” in talent delivery.
Third, making forward-looking moves in the low-altitude economy track.
Jiangsu University of Technology has a research direction in low-altitude technology and engineering, which closely matches NATUS's new product track in low-altitude economy disaster prevention and mitigation. The two sides will strengthen technical exchanges to explore this new blue ocean.
Fourth, deepening international resource linkage.
NATUS originates from Germany, and Jiangsu University of Technology runs mature cooperative education programs with German universities. The two parties share a natural German partnership heritage, creating favorable conditions for cross-border technical exchanges.

At the meeting, President Li Yinghui introduced NATUS's development history and talent needs; Vice President Xiao Liang elaborated on the cooperation plan, milestones, and expected outputs, in line with the “Development of EZ-power Intelligent Monitoring Power Distribution Equipment” technology development contract signed by both parties. The contract will be filed with the science and technology authorities, which carries important strategic value for enhancing the company's qualifications and its competitiveness in bidding. Deputy Dean Ding Kai reviewed the college's development history — the university currently has approximately 25,000 enrolled students, and the School of Mechanical Engineering is actively advancing its doctoral program application. Party Secretary Xue Yaping introduced the relevant programs, pledging to match the enterprise's technology needs precisely on a “one-to-one” basis. After the meeting, college leaders visited our exhibition hall and rooftop garden, which comprehensively showcased medium- and low-voltage intelligent products and pioneering explorations in low-altitude technology. The experts gave full recognition and high praise to the project outcomes.
This signing is an important step for NATUS in deepening its “collective endeavor” philosophy and strengthening its talent supply chain. Going forward, the two sides will continue to make sustained efforts in technology R&D, commercialization of outcomes, and talent cultivation, jointly writing a new chapter in the high-quality development of industry-education integration.
