Project Equipment Delivery Completed

NATUS Electric has won the tender to supply core power equipment for the Terranova hyperscale data center in Mexico, providing C-GIS 24 kV gas-insulated ring main units. The contract was signed in April, with full equipment delivery completed in June.

Gateway to a Strategic Market

Developed by Actis, a globally renowned infrastructure investment firm, the Terranova data center ranks among Latin America’s largest hyperscale computing platforms. It supports cloud computing, AI training and other high-reliability applications, with business coverage across Mexico, Brazil, Chile and other major economies. Participation in such a benchmark project itself serves as top-tier recognition of product capabilities.

Project Partner

LBS is a leading electromechanical engineering integrator in Mexico, boasting rich experience in electrical and mechanical systems for industrial facilities and data centres. It delivered full general contracting and system integration services for the Terranova Mexico site. The client’s selection of NATUS validates the comprehensive competitiveness of NATUS C-GIS in technical specifications, product stability and delivery capacity.

This contract represents far more than a business deal; it acts as a gateway to the Latin American computing infrastructure market.

A Rigorous Testbed for Robust Products

Data centres host Tier-1 critical loads. Power outages lead to computing suspension and massive data loss. NATUS C-GIS is purpose-built for such demanding scenarios:

 Fully sealed gas-insulated design avoids interference from dust and humidity to enable 7×24 continuous operation;

 Compact cabinet architecture optimised for high-density server room layouts to maximise space utilisation;

 Compliant with international standards, matching local grid parameters and maintenance practices in Latin America for seamless installation, commissioning and servicing.

Clients choose NATUS products essentially for the guarantee of “zero operational failure”—the highest standard for data centre facilities.

Boosting Team Confidence

From establishing a solid presence in domestic precision manufacturing to competing in the Latin American computing infrastructure arena, this milestone achievement relies on joint efforts from R&D, production, sales and technical service teams. Every department delivered consistent performance to earn this trust.

The Mexico project brought cross-time-zone and cross-linguistic challenges across every phase, covering solution design, technical coordination, production scheduling and after-sales support. Our team rose fully to the challenge.

The Terranova order is not a finishing line, but a starting point for NATUS’s sustained development in North and Latin American computing power markets.

We believe this foundation will bring continuous bulk repeat orders, wider market access and improved global perception of Chinese electrical brands among international customers. Beyond Latin America, an even broader global market awaits us.

We do not chase trends—we pursue progress. NATUS keeps moving forward.
