NATUS Group has recently secured a major municipal water sector contract for the second-phase power distribution equipment procurement within the Ningbo Beilun Yandong Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project. NATUS will deliver a complete integrated medium & low-voltage power distribution and busbar system for this key regional reclaimed water facility, marking an important reference project for NATUS in wastewater treatment and water resource recycling.

With an overall investment exceeding RMB 210 million, the project includes a new 60,000-ton/day high-quality reclaimed water production facility, supported by photovoltaic systems, concentrated brine treatment units and dedicated water supply pipelines. Wastewater treatment plant environments feature high humidity, corrosive gases and clusters of high-power pumps. This imposes strict requirements on power distribution systems regarding continuous stable power supply, corrosion resistance, intelligent O&M and long-term operational safety. After multiple rounds of technical evaluation and comprehensive assessment, the project owner selected NATUS’s full-chain power distribution solution, covering three core product categories:

Medium-Voltage Switchgear: NATUS NES Series Metal-Clad Withdrawable Switchgear
Modular flexible configuration, complete five-protection interlocks, PM-grade independent compartments, certified for internal arc resistance and Magnitude-8 seismic resistance. Rated to carry currents up to 5000A, the switchgear suits high-power blowers and lifting pumps inside the plant, and supports remote intelligent monitoring to guarantee uninterrupted power supply for core treatment processes.

Low-Voltage Switchgear: Siemens Officially Licensed 8PT System
Built on Siemens’ original technology platform, adopting standardised modular withdrawable construction. It supports flexible circuit expansion and convenient maintenance with comprehensive power quality protection. The equipment perfectly matches diversified low-voltage loads, including magnetic coagulation clarifiers, fine screens, chemical dosing systems and on-site PV grid connection, balancing cost efficiency with internationally recognised quality standards.

Busbar System: NATUS P-Line Armoured Compact Busway
Equipped with T2 tin-plated copper conductors, DuPont integrated insulation film and integrated aluminium-magnesium alloy enclosure with grounding function. It achieves high protection levels, low power loss and excellent heat dissipation, ideal for humid, corrosive wastewater treatment plant environments. Tap-off units support convenient live expansion, meeting distributed power demand across multiple workshop zones while greatly shortening on-site construction periods.

From detailed engineering design, full supply of equipment and accessories, to on-site installation guidance and system commissioning, NATUS Group provides one-stop full-lifecycle technical services to ensure rapid equipment delivery and commissioning, fully supporting the overall project schedule.

This multi-million-RMB water sector project win represents strong market recognition of NATUS’s integrated switchgear solutions. Drawing on Sino-German technical heritage and full-industrial-chain independent R&D and manufacturing capabilities, NATUS Group will further expand its footprint in municipal wastewater, reclaimed water treatment, industrial water treatment and photovoltaic supporting sectors. We deliver packaged, highly reliable power distribution products adapted to harsh operating conditions, forming the core electrical infrastructure for green water treatment projects nationwide. Moving forward, NATUS will continue to refine dedicated power distribution solutions for the water industry, winning greater trust from high-end governmental and enterprise clients through robust product capabilities.
