NATUS Secures First Full-Scope Data Center Power Package at Yunyang Smart Computing Center

Release time:2026-07-29

NATUS Electric has recently secured a full-scope contract to supply power distribution equipment for the Chongqing Yunyang Smart Computing Center. We provide a one-stop solution integrating “in-house full-stack 10kV–0.4kV equipment and unified end-to-end services,” creating a robust power foundation for regional computing infrastructure. As AI computing infrastructure rapidly expands into lower-tier cities, small and medium-sized smart computing centres impose stringent standards for power supply reliability and equipment integration. Drawing on full-industrial-chain R&D and manufacturing strengths, NATUS precisely addresses core pain points for computing power scenarios. The project also represents a landmark breakthrough for NATUS in large-scale data center deployment.

In-Depth Collaboration, Full-Chain Delivery, Trust Across the Board

As a regional benchmark project, the Yunyang Smart Computing Center adopts a comprehensive packaged equipment model. From preliminary technical adaptation and site surveys to commercial negotiations, the NATUS team maintained close communication with the client and general contractor, fully taking project schedules, construction conditions and long-term maintenance cycles into consideration. The final solution delivered win-win outcomes for all stakeholders. The client highly recognised NATUS’s integrated strengths: self-owned product portfolio, dedicated power distribution solutions for computing power scenarios and proven delivery capability. Such trust stems from NATUS’s years of technical accumulation in power equipment and, more crucially, our targeted response to unique pain points within computing infrastructure.

In-House Full-Chain Manufacturing – Integrated High & Low-Voltage Power Supply

All core high- and low-voltage equipment deployed for this project are proprietary NATUS products. They form a complete closed-loop system covering high-voltage incoming power, power transformation, low-voltage distribution, terminal protection and energy storage integration. This eliminates compatibility risks arising from multi-brand assembly and guarantees 7×24-hour stable operation of the smart computing centre.

10kV HV Switchgear – NES‑12
Medium-voltage switchgear featuring high insulation levels, rapid fault interruption and intelligent online monitoring, capable of coping with instantaneous high power surges generated by computing clusters.

High-Efficiency Dry-Type Transformer – SCB18
No-load and load losses far exceed national standards. Oil-free and flame retardant with Class F temperature resistance and anti-short-circuit design. It accommodates wide load fluctuations and supports green, low-carbon computing objectives.

0.4kV LV Switchgear – Energon
Modular intelligent switchgear specially developed for high-density computing loads. It delivers excellent harmonic suppression, multi-branch hierarchical distribution and built-in intelligent measurement & control units to support remote energy monitoring and early fault warning.

Terminal Distribution Boxes & Battery Switch Cabinets
Covers end power distribution for IT rooms and energy storage protection, with standardised enclosures and unified maintenance specifications.

P‑Line Busbar System
In response to on-site civil engineering requirements, the team pushes forward delivery of self-developed busbar systems, aiming to supply a full suite of NATUS-manufactured equipment from high-voltage side through to terminal loads.

Core Competitiveness – Full Range of Independently Designed & Manufactured Circuit Breakers

All high and low-voltage protective circuit breakers used in this project are independently developed by NATUS. This ensures consistent matching of electrical parameters and well-coordinated protection logic, avoiding protection coordination failures between components from different suppliers. Unified spare parts management and after-sales support also substantially lower whole-lifecycle operation and maintenance costs.

Regional Benchmark – Capturing Opportunities in the Trillion-Yuan Computing Infrastructure Market

The Yunyang project delivers strategic value to NATUS far beyond the contract itself:

Establish a replicable benchmark case: Build a complete implementation template for computing power distribution, delivering authoritative project references for IDC, AIDC and edge computing projects across Sichuan, Chongqing and Southwest China.

Verify full-stack solutions for small & medium smart computing centres: Fully demonstrate integrated delivery workflow covering “10kV switchgear → transformer → low-voltage switchgear → terminal distribution,” developing standardised solutions suitable for county-level and industrial park computing centres to enable rapid market rollout.

Unlock new growth momentum: AI computing infrastructure represents the most certain growth segment for power transmission and distribution equipment over the next five years. With our comprehensive self-owned product lineup, NATUS has completed commercial verification of full-stack solutions for computing scenarios, fully entering the trillion-yuan digital infrastructure market.

Quality Builds Trust – NATUS Strengthens Position as Power Infrastructure Provider for Computing Power

Compared with traditional industrial facilities, AI computing clusters set far higher requirements for safety, energy efficiency and intelligence of power supply systems. Fragmented third-party solutions may lead to system outages, excessive energy consumption and other failures. NATUS consistently adheres to full-industrial-chain independent R&D and manufacturing. Our proprietary product matrix spans medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, low-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, busbars and terminal distribution boxes. This enables us to provide customised one-stop turnkey services for diverse smart computing centres, featuring “unified design, unified manufacturing and unified after-sales support”.

The Yunyang project results from cross-team collaboration among marketing, technical and delivery teams, and serves as strong validation of NATUS’s self-developed switchgear solutions. Going forward, we will continue to optimise next-generation energy-saving intelligent power distribution products tailored for high-density AI loads. We will expand regional brand influence via benchmark projects and build a reliable power backbone for China’s digital economy.
